    Just joined this site. Have a 2006 Jetta TDI that just turned past 100,000 miles. Ordered a timing belt kit today and will make the belt change next weekend. Wish me luck. Been a hot rodder all my life but I am new to the TDI. Surely its just normal bolt out...bolt back type stuff for the belt change. probably be adding to the old tool box though.

    Yes but you need a few special tools. Also, worn camshafts is a very common prob and if it needs to be changed, TB time is most convenient time. Worth inspecting
