I have a 2004 Passat TDI that just had a rebuilt transmission less than 2 weeks ago. Yesterday the car had no idle speed. When i stepped off the brake the car didn't move it just there until i gave it gas. But at ever light it did this until i turned the car off and back on and that seemed to fix it. Should i be concerned? What caused this?

I've no idea but I'd try a scan for fault codes, I'm sure the auto box has its own module.

The only thing I can find on the internet that was close to my problem was limp mode. Im going to take it into a shop in the next day or so and do that.

Well it sounds like low oil or TC going out.
