    Gentlemen -
    2012 Jetta TDi Mk6, 6-speed manual.
    DPF removed
    BuzzKen down-pipe & resonator installed
    Malone 2.5 Tune

I have a persistent Charge Air Cooler Efficiency fault on my Jetta.
Clear the fault and unplug VCDS, it comes right back
If I run the car with VCDS connected, the fault remains off as long as VCDS is active.
I have cleaned the intercooler inside and out.
I have found IAT descriptions and locations for just about every other model, but not this one.
Contents of the fault readout copied below.

    1. Where is the IAT located on the Mk6 Jetta?
    2. IAT part number?
    3. Any other suggestions for correcting this condition?

    1. Not sure but usually on the intake pipe.
    2. If you find a suspect sensor, look for the part number on it and google it.
    3. Can you use VCDS to read this sensor to determine if it's reading low? It should read slightly higher than ambient.

I'm pretty sure the intake temp & intake pressure are two in to one. On the discharge pipe after the charge air cooler.

    Sorry to thread jack but:

Any info about if the 2014 (so last of this generation of TDIs) had the TSB performed at the assembly?

Any way to force the dealer to apply this if I've had water in the charge air cooler once?

    Thanks!
