Picked up a set of Audi S3 17 inch alloys last night for a bargain price, I think they really look the part, what do you think?

Cheers guys, another one off the list lol.

    That's

Full electrics including windows, mirrors and remote locking

    Gti recaro seats in blue/black

    Gti 3 spoke steering wheel

    Cluster with half mfa

Galvanised steel under tray (not quite finished)

    35mm drop

High quality tailored mats (should be here this week)

Blue silicone vacuum pipe as well as giving the engine and bay a clean with G101 (took 20 minutes lol)

It's getting there, still needs more power and some paintwork though.

Love the wheels, really sets off the swagger wagen!

I'm crazy jealous of your engine bay transformation. Mine is FILTHY and I can't touch anything without my hands getting nasty. Did you simply spray on the G101, let it sit a while, then hose it off or powerwash it off? I'm not sure I'll be able to find G101 anywhere here in the states, any tips on a comparable engine bay cleaner?

biodiesel or regular diesel are excellent engine cleaners, spray some on and let it sit for 5-10 min, pressure wash and done.

    Nice wheels

Try and get hold of some of that G101, trust me, everything else is hard work in comparison lol.

I ended up getting some "Purple Power" from a store near my office yesterday. I did two rounds of spray and wait and rinse and one round of spray and scrub. It worked WONDERS! It doesn't look brand new or anything but it's a night and day difference! This weekend I'm going to remove the skid plate and do the same thing from underneath. Unfortunately my EGR is leaking oil from the weep hole which has really dirtied up my engine, especially down low.

    Thanks for the tips!

It's funny you should sound so surprised, over here all the estates are golfs but folk fit the bora front end to make them look like the jetta lol. I do prefer the golf front myself.
