I own Golf 5 2.0 TDI, year 2006 which was crashed. I replaced complete engine and ecu with 2008 from the car which was burned inside. Original type motor was BMM, the new one is AZV. The problem is: the engine starts for a second and on the board computer says Immobilizier active! Could I solve the problem myself with vcds diagnostic tool? :dunno Thanks for your time and your help.

No VCDS will only fix your problem if you have the SKC. To obtain the SKC you need VAG TACHO or one of the other devices like VAG Commander 1.4.
