Fueled then lost power

    After fueling at a "no name" station, my glow plug light came on and I lost power. OBDII Code is P0045 "Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control 'A' Circuit/Open" could this be from bad diesel? 2009 Jetta TDI

    I wouldn't see how bad fuel could have caused this, check the wiring and connections.

    EOBD II Error Code: P0045

    Fault Location:
    Turbocharger (TC) Boost Control Solenoid/Supercharger (SC) Boost Control Solenoid - Open Circuit

    Possible Cause:
    Wiring.
    Turbocharger (TC) boost control solenoid/Supercharger (SC) boost control solenoid.
