Has anyone reset the soot level on a 2015 TDI?

This is a follow on to

    http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?8409-2015-TDI-DPF-reset

    which started at

    http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=469809

from the study guides, and use, we know that two soot models are maintained, and report quantities known as measured soot, and calculated soot.

the measured one varies up and down as dpf pressure changes, and is also scaled with mass air flow and temps. during drives, this quantity will decrease during passive regeneration

http://www.myturbodiesel.com/wiki/dpf-obd-charts/ includes a sample of data including the measured and calculated soot values over an hour plus drive

the calculated is increasing only, except as active regeneration proceeds.

I have watched both on my car, using both vcds, and a polar fis + installed on my car.

when either soot level is past 45 grams of soot, the ECU will not run a regeneration. (per the SSG)

where the dpf is really clogged up. (say from an unrepaired severe boost leak, or extended idling without regeneration), it does have to be pulled and cleaned or replaced.

this would take care of the measured soot, but the calculated soot needs to be reset

    http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/2.0L_CR_TDI

explains the process. but the steps seem to be different for the latest updated engine controller.

so my question is if anyone reading this has performed the soot reset on a US/Canada EA288 2015 TDI.

and related to the data collection thread (which is a great example of users sharing data and gaining information) , soot is not ash, and it seems that the oil ash volume is similar to the calculated soot level, based on use, not derived from measurements.

What ist the problem? Does the field regeneration not work?
During a field regeneration, both soot levels are reset.
    Cheers

Seems that for the 2015 TDI engines, the ash reset adaptation also clears the calculated soot value.
