Few weeks ago it was real cold (-40c with wind chill) so they weren't spraying unless i drove for a while---but i could hear them trying to.
Warmed up a week later and they worked fine.
Week later got a yellow bulb failure light coming on and sometimes not for a few days, all lights seemed to work fine, havn't seen it since.

Not long after i noticed the pumps wern't even making a sound like they were trying to spray.
Topped up the washer fluid, changed out a blown fuse (fuse 8 according to diagrams i seen) and happened to be going on a 4hr road trip--so you'd think they would have warmed up enough(-20c right now) but they still arn't working.
Could there be another fuse blown? Could it have anything to do with the light bulb malfunction i had a while ago?

Any chance your washer fluid is freezing up inside your washer tank?

Maybe? But wouldn't the heat from driving for 4hrs be good enough for that? Going to be around 0 in a few days so will find out for sure then.
Oh and its a 2011 jetta tdi

If frozen I don't think a long drive is enough to thaw it. You might have water or that pink summer fluid mixed in there allowing freeze up

Where have you seen its fuse 8 for the front windscreen washer?

I'm not sure about a Jetta but my Golf the screen wash reservoir is under the wing so it gets no heat from the engine bay to defrost any ice in winter.

Can you let it sit inside and heated for a night?

You might have some bad washer fluid and it froze. Don't try the pump too much and let the car thaw completely...
