Both coolant fans on w/ key A/C off?

    hey Gang, Anybody got an answer to this one ??? new main fan, new FCM .Also tried disconnecting the A/C
    HP switch as well as the Rad temp switch.... and then batt. neg . to clear ECM.......? :annoyed

    If the temperature is high outside it's normal for fans to run minute or two after the hot engine is turned off. There is thermo switch which gives power to fans if the temperature is over certain limit, once the fans cool off the coolant under that limit thermo switch will open and fans will stop.


    If fans don't stop after 2 min then your fans are shorted to positive or fcm is bad
