Ok folks, whats happened is that my b7 audi a4 140 ps is stuck with hydrolock. Roomers says that its problably cracks in cylinder head
which seems to be an issue on these BLB heads. First I thought it was head gasket...but. Can anyone confirm that cracks had been an issue
on these machines? Grateful for answers !

It is possible for cylinder head on 2,0 tdi 16v to crack. Anyway you will have to remove head and replace head gasket, and you also should perform a hydro test to see if there is any cracks on your head.

120000 miles, so easiest way is to change the engine I believe, new machine is less than 3000$ from Poland.

May be, but your repair should not be so expensive.

Yes, but an overhauled engine has upgraded oilpump too and new cylinder head. I have ordered a new overhauled engine, and can keep the old one.
