Just for the brief second while the turbo is spooling up or throughout acceleration?

    Is it tuned?

You're fueling for boost when it hasn't come up when you hammer on it suddenly, it will likely smoke a little, not sure how much you're talking about.

Also check the boost pipes aren't leaking as that can cause a little bit of excess smoke. Gidday and welcometomyturbodies :D

My car is a little older but I found using premium diesel,47 cetane helped. Of course it costs a little more. I also add 4oz of Stanadyne with every tank. It has helped with that diesel smell at start up, if I have the windows down. I change the fuel filter more frequent which seemed to help. Is it excessive or throughout driving? Any loss of power? Any fault codes?
