i have a 2005.5 jetta tdi need info on how to install new belt ,it has jumped timeing
Be careful, if it jumped timing there's a good possibility that the valves have crashed into the head. Here are timing belt instructions: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a5/brm-VW-Jetta-TDI-timing-belt-replacement-1.htm
Here are head replacement instructions for an earlier engine, the BRM procedure is similar: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a4/cylinder-head-removal-ALH-TDI-engine.htm At least check for damaged lifters . These are interference engines and a compression check may not show damage since the valves point up-down.
looks like head is damaged, where can i find engine info ,code,is this a BRM engine
It's definitely a BRM, contact Franko6 for some rebuild pricing, he's a good guy to talk to: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/forum/members/franko6/
