2003 jetta

    Swapped engine out on a 2003 jetta 1.8T from junk yard. After installation it would not start. Found bad spot on harness and found burnt ECM. Replaced engine wiring harness and ECM, still not spark, no injector pulse and no engine RPM with scanner. Loosing my tail on this job and dont know where to go from here. HELP!!!:bowdown:dunno

    Hm....replaced ECM - you have to program the immobilizer if you change the ECM. I don't know why you aren't getting spark or injector, but after you fix it, you'll have to deal with the immobilizer as well. Take a look at the immobilizer FAQ for how to fix it.
