Hello guys... I bougt a 2003 jetta 2 years back and never receive the original flip key. I went on ebay and purchase 1 and tried to switch the transponder chip from the valet key to the flip key and damaged the chip in the process.

Any help in retrieving the SKC would be much appreciated. I live in a remote area and to get my jetta to the nearest lock smith and reprogramming the immobilizer will cost me a whopping $800.00.

Check out the mk4 key FAQ, I believe that your 2003 in Belize should be a mk4 and not a mk3. Once you get the SKC you still have to use a ross tech VCDS to program the key.
