The car is Audi A3 2006 at 16o ooo miles and the problem is every time I start the car it puffs a small cloud of black smoke from the exhaust. There is no relation with the temperature and the car does it hot and cold. The car doesn't take to long to start. No errors in VCDS, IQ deviation quantities on 013 looks ok - under 0,5 each. Cam timing is set ot 0KW which is not "out of range" timing - it's exact 0 (it goes to +0,5 on high rpms) The car has no DPF, only catalytic converter which I'm not sure is it still on it. I guess the ecu has no custom flashes or starting maps edits, however I'm waiting MPPS cable to check it. I saw this problem on other A3 1.9 tdi
I did some VCDS logging and graphing on 3rd gear from 1500 rpms to redline with floored acceleration pedal.
Injection
Turbo
MAF
Everything looks fine but the MAF readings in high rpms (over 3700) actual values goes lower than expected. In the same time turbo actual values remain close to specified (or a bit over) What is considered normal Start injection quantity on vcds measuring block 005?
