and
VCDS Mod: Bi-Xenon's and halogen Hi-Beams (Simultaneous) 2010 ONLY
that are related to it. Congrats!

The latest winner for Dec-Jan is misteroboto for how to replace taillight bulbs on Passat:
'05 Passat wagon brake light DIY

I put it aside and was going to add a few more pictures for the writeup but since the last term is ending, it still goes to him. Another good one was EZ-engine cover removal by dweisel: dweisel's CR EZ engine cover removal Both were relatively simple writeups so no extra points either way. EZ engine cover removal had clear pictures (focused, showed better context) whereas Passat taillight removal had fuzzy pictures so a few points that way. However, since Passat taillight removal had a few more steps and may not be completely obvious, it wins by a point.

Enjoy!

The latest winner for Feb-March is Code3VW for his writeup on how to install the OEM backup camera in a VW Sportwagen TDI: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a...m-retrofit.htm

There are plenty of good clear pictures but my one criticism is that at the end, he ran out of steam and there aren't pictures showing things like the final wiring. However, the overall writeup had sufficient detail and difficulty to win.

Congrats!

The latest winner for April-May is WagonTDI for his writeup on how to remove the power steering pump, alternator, AC compressor, and bracket: DIY: Alternator/PS Pump/AC Compressor removal

Good pics not possible with the engine in the car, good notes, and organized. One criticism, the lighting could be better but they are still usable. Congrats!

The newest winner for June-July is almir for his writeup on AC coil replacement: complete instructions on ac compressor clutch and coil removal

It had good pictures and details. The scope is limited because not every person will have their AC fail but it described the procedure very well. I don't know much about the details of AC systems so it's much appreciated as well. Congrats!

The newest winner for August-September is dbandel for 1000q: How to use the VW special tool T10134 - BRM Rear main seal change

Although there was already a basic writeup, the amount of detail and quality pictures added so much more detail that it qualified for the writeup contest. Congrats!

Toeball wins the October-November period for the combination of his two writeups: stereo install Custom Stereo Install on JSW and LED taillight: Convert License Plate Lights to LED the Easy Way

Congrats! The quality of the pics could be a better, some of them were really clear but some were really fuzzy.

amd is the best wins Dec-Jan for the 2010 specific writeup on how to install HID headlights on a Jetta. Although there's already a writeup for mk5 Jetta, the 2010 uses mk6 electronics so it can also apply to Golf and JSW with the mk6 electronics.

Congrat! There were some other good writeups but this one wins on scope since it can cover many models. HowTo: OEM Bi-Xenon/OEM Fog Lights/CECM Upgrade/LED Euro Tails in a 2010 Jetta Sedan

AMCMasterTech wins Feb-March for the writeup 2011 CJAA broken bolt removal Although the exact engine shown is limited in scope, the same basic principles apply to removing broken bolts out of any engine block. The quality of the pictures was also a factor. Congrats!

I've been behind on this because I reinstalled windows and lost all my bookmarks. If you made a writeup April - now, please post a reminder here because I can't remember all the possible writeups that were posted!
