Tdi loses power

I have a 2010 jetta tdi that loses power after a 2 plus hour trip. A warning bell will sound, the glow plug light will come on and flash and engine will go to half power. If you stop engine and restart it will reset and go back to normal. The check enging may come on or not. No code is thrown unless the check enging does come on. My local dealer is stumped and seems to have no idea what to do. I'm i the only one with this problem????? Thanks

I have a 2010 JSW TDI and have not had this problem. However, I will say that I find it hard to believe that the dealer is stumped.
Did they scan the ECU and get any codes out of it? If so what were they?
Were they able to reproduce the problem when they drove the car?
Did they contact VW technical service and ask for help?

There are a lot of unanswered questions here that having answers for will help to solve your problem.
