EGR valve bypass performance pipe

I put in a performance pipe by diesel-geek that bypasses the egr valve completely over a year ago on my 2000 tdi jetta and as they told me, I constantly get a P3130 code. I have a scan gauge that I use to reset it all the time. I was wondering if anyone had any fixes to bypass this code? An inexpensive programer that I can use to turn this code off, ect.? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You've changed the emissions of the car and it knows something is wrong. You must reflash the ECU to remove the EGR system with no codes.

I did a search on re-flashing the ecu and really didn't find anything. Is this something that a dealer has to do or is there a way I can do this? Thanks

dealer can't do since it violates emissions and they are not equipped or knowledgeable to do this kind of modification.

Contact kermatdi.com and malonetuning.com, they do ECU reflashes. It can't hurt to also get a performance tune while you're at it
