What is a "boot sticker/service schedule sticker"? Is that unique to the European market?

It shouldn't be for Europe only. The should be stuck on the first page of the service schedule/service book. The other half of this sticker is stuck to the boot floor, it could be in the spare wheel well.
Data Sticker

It appears there are specific ones available Audi A3 (8P/8L) but you're going to need a German translator.
http://vag-codes.info/vag-option-codes where you can also download Audi / VW / Škoda / Seat option codes and the VAS-5051-Error-Codes.pdf but again you need a German translator. I shall have to check if the error code match my Free EOBD II Error Codes software ?
