BMW 335d

Looking at the BMW 335d instead of the Golf TDI, just need more room than the Golf has, especially with comfort in the rear seat area. Test drove the Golf TDI this weekend, very nice for the driver enjoyment, but my family wants more comfort. Wish the CC had a diesel (any predictions?)

What are the pros and cons of getting the 335d other than cost? Anyone aware of long term reliablity issues? Cost of service/maintence?

I cannot see the CC with a diesel anytime soon.

The 335d needs Adblue but it's a trivial expense and can be purchased cheaply at truck stops. BMW, like VW, covers initial maintenance.

If you need more room, check out the Audi Q7 or VW Touareg. You can buy a 2009 Audi Q7 TDI with a nice discount vs. new and if you plan on doing towing, the Touareg is a champ.
