Immobilizer light flashing

How do I reset the immobilizer light flashing. Though the engine runs smoothly. It start with key and the key remote still works to lock and unlock the car. Infact there is nothing wrong with the car except the flashing immobilizer light.

So the engine runs ok but the MIL/CEL light is flashing? There isn't an immobilizer light as such. You need someone with VCDS to do a scan. Oh its a 2001 so you would need the older VAG-COM.

So your from Ibadan, Nigeria so I don't know if many people have VCDS over there so it looks like a trip to a dealer to do a fault scan. Unless you fancy buying VCDS then you can charge other VAG owners over there to do a scan.
