Default what is the correct camshaft timing for 05.5 6 brm?

i have an 06 1.9l brm jetta tdi , and i had the timing belt replace by a mechanic i thought he was familiar with tdi , i dont think he did my timing belt correctly, i believe he is off one tooth on the cranshaft , and i checked the camshaft readings and its 2.5 , what is the best setting for this engine?

Welcome to the forum.

Check out 2005 (aka 2005.5) 2006 VW Jetta TDI timing belt replacement (1.9L BRM engine) in FAQ?

You joined here in Feb 2010 and this is your first post, now that you've made a post you should be able to read all parts?
