I have a 2.0 GT TDI Golf MK5 that has recently started to go to 'overboost' condition when I go over 80mph, the overboost diagnosis was from a diagnostic machine thing. I have to turn the car off and back on to temporarily cure the problem. So far I have tried cleaning the turbo and it seemed to do the trick for about 2 weeks and then started to do it again? Any other ideas on how to sort this? Louise

You're getting limp mode. There's many possible causes and without further testing it's hard to guess. Read this: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/m...de-TDI-fix.htm Most of the time it's a turbo control issue or sticking.
