Luckily this damage could be repaired by the engineering shop. The problem I have now is that I cannot get locking tools in South Africa. Is there anybody that can advise me on alternative ways to lock the crank shaft. |

Is there a dealer there? If not, try snap-on tools or metalnerd.com, they may ship internationally. You can substitute the pin with a pin of equal diameter but the crank lock has teeth and there's no way to make your own without fabbing your own which would be much more difficult.
Also, post moved since it's a technical question. |

If it's a Pumpe Duse, BRM or BEW in the U.S., there are 2 different crank lock tools. like Chitty said, your local dealer may be able to get you the correct tool. For the cam lock, a letter sized "A" drill fits perfectly.

just use a drill bit... forget the size but it will lock the cam in perfectly
as for the crank... once the cam is locked you can set the crank to where it needs to be (i did it off pictures) and tighten the tesioner and bam you are golden pm me if you need more info |
