Default Unlock all doors via remote, how to..???

Is it possible to modify program to unlock all doors instead only driver one on the first press of a remote button?
Many times even when I try by pressing twice, only driver door unlock and I will get a divorce if I continue to keep my wife out in the cold.
I there any way to change that ?

Because of your concern, I assume you have a lowline display and don't have the option to change it via the MFD: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a...display-VW.htm

If you don't have it, you have to use a VCDS cable and software to adjust the option in the central convenience module. If you need more steps I'll take some screenshots.

I whipped this up just for you: enjoy and you're welcome. It has detailed step by step instructions on how to enable unlock all doors with a single press of the remote. These are normally options if you have a highline display and all TDI 2009 and newer have highline displays.

Tell your wife to not pull the handle until you've unlocked the doors or try changing the remote battery?

Unfortunately I don’t have Highline display, and I don’t own VCDS (I need to find out where I can get one and if I can afford it).
Thanks for fast respond and advice.
PS. As wife advice goes, I'm not sure if that will work. I'll try to replace batteries thou.

You need the hex-can for 2005 and newer mk5 cars. http://www.ross-tech.com/Merchant2/m...ry_Code=VAGCOM They sell them in USB and serial cable. http://vagcomlocator.com/tinc?key=cS...ormname=VAGCOM You could also try to find someone local with this vag com finder.

Try using the finder to find a local with the cable.

You can always sell the cable on ebay when you're finished. The used price is $320-300 which makes the cost only $30-50 + ebay fees. here's an example. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ross-...motiveQ5fTools

Since you have a 2006 Jetta (from your profile), you can use the Micro-CAN Interface
http://www.ross-tech.com/Merchant2/m...ry_Code=VAGCOM for $249.00

Wife happiness just got less
