Reset my Imobilizer

I lost the key for my 06 GTI a few years ago and had to get a new one made and all programmed. 2 years later I found that key and tried to start the car with it and it shut down my car. I now know that i need to reprogram all keys and I dont want to pay for it. I have vag tools and laptop and would like to get it running again without having to have it towed to the dealer. 106$ i was quoted on the reprograming which I could handle....but the tow job will be even more as I am far away from the dealer. Please help if possable.

Check out the mk5 key FAQ. Get the SKC to access immobilizer module and use VCDS to redo the keys yourself.
