I'm in the same boat as you right now. Worn out cam, but i'm looking at the Colt stage2 cam. Read good things about it being a better profile to live longer, stronger material, and good for 15hp/30ft.lbs. Just trying to figure out where is the best place to get all the stuff. Seems like there's a few suppliers that supply very good parts.

If rocker arms were replaced yes, if not no but it couldn't hurt. Yes the adjuster nut has a role in fueling. See the article in exclusive section for specs on adjusting height.

I would say you probably should. If the injector lobes base circle diameter on the new cam is different, you could have a problem.
Cam lift is determined by the difference between the lowest part of the base circle and the highest part of the base circle and not so much by the diameter. Franko9 on Fred's TDI Club has a quick and dirty way to adjust the injectors. Chitty may have the "quick and dirty" procedure in his ever growing how to articles, as well. just pulled mine down,,cam and lifters gone, this is the last thing i wanted to spend the weekend doing.
