please help new to tdi

I'm on my way home just bought 2006 jetta tdi I think it's going into limp mode if I go up hill or need more power the cruise control shuts off and I only get 3-4 pounds of boost I have a bully dog monitor and top speed of 60-65 then I turn key off and back on it resets the cruise works and I have 15-18 pounds boost and runs good In till a hill or load on motor thanks for any help

Can you take the car back and have them fix it? It's on the drive home!

You are getting limp mode. What is a bully dog monitor, is it part of a plug-in box? The first thing I would do is remove the plug-in box and see if you're still limping.
