Sorry, don't know. That part number hasn't been confirmed yet.

Try it and let everyone else know. What I want to know is why they have so many part numbers when they could have just 1?

I purchased a paddle shifter wheel for the 2005 to 2009 cars. It's buttons look like the 09 Jettas. Is this wheel compatible with the 2010 Jettas with DSG that came with the Mk 6 MFSW? I don't have Nav.
I hope to use it, but I don't want problems or loss of significant functions.

The steering wheel will turn the wheels and most of the buttons will work but you'll lose some button function. Look at the writeup and read the section where it says the mk5 vs. mk6 wheel compatibility.

You'll also need the mk5 style airbag.

Default Adding buttons to a GTI paddle-shifter wheel?

Hi all-

I have a pkg#2 '06 TDi with MFSW and I want to add a sport steering wheel with paddle shifters and keep my MFSW controls. I found this wheel (pictured below) supposedly from a 2010 GTI that had paddle shifters, but no MF buttons. It does have blanks that can be removed via screws.

Is it a simple task to add my buttons to this wheel, recode via VCDS, and be good to go?

Does anyone know how the buttons and paddle wires/harness combine? Does this happen underneath the button modules? I notice that this wheel already has a ribbon cable, presumably for the paddle, where the button cable would usually be. Anyone tried this?

Is this a quick "plug and play"?

Maybe, what are the part numbers on the paddle shifters? What do you see under the removeable blanks?

I have the same combo except it came with the MFSW buttons. Look through the MFSW steering wheel swap article. If your paddle shifters are left button: 1k0 951 527 b reh , right button:1k0 951 528 b reh , you can use MFSW button with paddle shifter (may not include paddle shifters): left buttons: 1k0 959 537 f reh, right buttons: 1k0 959 538 c reh

These were the actual part numbers that came off the wheel I'm using.

Can you take pics of the blanks removed? I'd like to see what the paddles shifter without the MFSW plugs into and to add the picture to the FAQ article. If you could provide the part number (it should have a sticker or a stamped number on it), it would really be helpful.

Here are some temp pictures showing the buttons removed. The paddle plugged into the button and the button plugged into the lower part. The pics will be added to the MFSW writeup some other time so if you don't see pics, refer to the article.

Hope this helps!

Lightbulb just want to add shift buttons

Bump.

Is it possible to just add these (just purchased 2012 JSWwith DSG/ no NAV)

http://www.ebay.de/itm/VW-GOLF-6-PAS...item519b130d04

to an existing MFSW? It looks like they would just plug into the module in the steering wheel and mount on the back.

Just trying to finad a method for adding the shift buttons without getting extra items.
