New to the TDI game, just come from a 2011 Subaru STI and wanted to get rid of my car payment so I decided on a TDI so i could stop paying so much for gas too. SO far I love it, and am looking forward to learning more and adding a bit more power in the future. trying to figure out a fix for the sagging headliner issue if anyone has any suggestions. Obviously warranty work from a dealer is no longer an option. Thanks Dave |

I've heard a few times that the dealer DID cover a sagging headliner well out of warranty. If no joy, try another. Can't hurt to bring the car down and ask as long as they'll take a look for no charge. Let us know what happens.

Mine was well past manufacturers warranty and vw covered it completely. I would recommend taking it to dealer. They may want to take pictures and send to vw. If you don't hear back in a couple weeks, call vw of America customer care. I spokenwith them and they coveredit. I was very happy they covered it, but figured they should on a 5-6 year old car.
I am the 2nd owner, so that didn't seem to matter either. |
