Default New to the Forum

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have a 2006 Jetta TDI which is approaching 70k miles. Just looking to get some info on the TB change and saw the ispection on the camshaft. I plan on doing the TB at 100k ish and I guess I will inspect the camshaft at then also unless it should be done sooner.

Welcome to the forum.

You shouldn't wait until 100k before you change the timing belt I would do it now personally as it will cost you a lot more if it does break?

Timing belt - Renew - Every 80000 miles or 48 months
Timing belt tensioner - Renew Every 160000 miles or 96 months
