new dmf still rattling

I replaced my dmf because it was making the common rattling noise. I installed a brand new luk dmf, and it's just slightly better. I did notice that the new dmf also has some play in it like the old one(but not as much). Does anyone know how much play there has to be? A video showing it would be perfect.

When are you getting the rattling noise? When the engine's idling or under load?

Did you replace the throwout bearing? What was the condition of the pivot point for the bearing carrier (and the carrier ("fork") itself) ?

Only at idle. Its a dsg so no throw-out bearing
