Default need help

i posted and seen u got right back to me thanks. i lost all my sign in info but anyways the car goes into limp mode only when theres a load and shifting into 5th under 3000rpms. i learned a lot since the day i was driving home, i put a clutch and fly wheel g60 kit with 14 # flywheel. had moalone tune it ,added water meth injection. bought micro can and ross tech software. runs great getting 14.5 in 1/4 mile. 46 mpg 2 things i can't figure out. 1st the rear deck won't shut every time adjusted the catch, lubed everything no luck. I'm sorry 3 things .2nd can't learn remote pod tried everything even ross tech SOFTWARE THE SAVE BUTTON WONT LITE up. 3rd still going into limp code comes up po299 , and it says egr malfunctioning. any help would be great heres my original post forum for me .I'm on my way home just bought 2006 jetta tdi I think it's going into limp mode. if I go up hill or need more power the cruise control shuts off and I only get 3-4 pounds of boost I have a bully dog monitor and top speed of 60-65, then I turn key off and back on it resets the cruise. works and I have 15-18 pounds boost and runs good In till a hill or load on motor thanks for any help.

14.5 1/4 mile is normally not that fast but for a TDI that came with 90 hp, I would say that's very fast.

There must be something about the remote that isn't letting it save.

EGR malfunction could be wiring or broken valve. Check the functino through VCDS. The tune won't send you into limp mode but if something is out of whack then you'll get to limp mode sooner. You have to do more troubleshooting here like fixing the EGR code and see if limp mode is resolved.

Default did more test

did measure blocks on boost and egr. noticed what the ECM was calling for and the actual reading was different. actual boost was 1.9 bar higher egr was 4.0 different any reason and help would be great thanks again I love my tdi
