Smile mk5 golf 140 bkd 2.0 re-mapped

hi guys ive got a mk5 golf 2.0 tdi BKD engine 140bhp its totaly standed and now its got 117k on clock love me car and like to keep it in best condition i can i am thinking of getting it re-mapped as do alotof motorway miles i have heared alot of people saying after re-map your cluch will go and your turbo for the miles whats on my car but i am no boy racer iver never ragged my car of the mark and never wheel spin it in first gear as i say i look after my car its only used foot down on motorways and i would say 3rd gear up wards up do i just go for it or is it a bad idea thanks guys

That's a guy called Ryan has that place, might be worth asking him about mapping. Remaps don't have to be really agressive, they can be done just to improve the overall driving of the car because the manufacturer just does a basic sort of setup but leaves lots of room for improvement.
