GTI Headlight Retrofit Question

Hi, I'm going to be doing a GTI OEM Projector Headlight retrofit onto my 2006 Jetta TDI.
I have everything ordered but before i start, i just have one quick question that i searched and searched on Google but could not find an answer.
On my stock halogen headlight, at the back of the unit, there are two wire connectors to the headlight.
The main harness "10 pin plug", and another small 3 wire plug, i think it's green, what is this plug and what do i do with it when installing the new GTI headlights?

Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
