The second possible cause is the antenna amps which boost the radio signal. These are located in the C pillar and should have at least 5V going to them. if the AM amp has failed, the signal is not passed on. |

If it is the amp, the part will cost $140-175. If VW does the work, they charge $135 and hr! This is a good reason NOT to go to the VW dealer!
