Hi Folks,
I have a 2010 Jetta LE (non-diesel sorry!), but this is a great forum, so thinking somebody might be able to answer my question.
A legel settlement just took place (final approval pending) that will allow owners of certain Jetta vehicles (gasoline & TDI) to have a "Bluetooth Upgrade Kit" installed. It specifically references part # 000-051-473-J.

I have tried searching for information about this part, but information is very limited.
My main question, After reading this page, is how will the upgrade work in my vehicle?
http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a...etooth-FAQ.htm
It looks like all of the "upgrade" systems interface with either the MFD / MFI or RNS 510 (premium) radio. My vehicle has neither. My "MFD" only shows time, outside temp & odometer. My radio is very basic, one line of text for the radio station. And the steering wheel does not have any radio/display buttons. The current Bluetooth system has 3 buttons on the overhead console which allows me to answer or mute n incoming call.
So, what exactly is 000-051-473-J and how will it work in my vehicle?
Much thanks!!!
