A wire for the central locking leading from the drivers-side door into the car snapped (in the boot) which resulted in the central locking not working in the drivers door. After soldering the wire together and refitting the wire harness plug back, the airbag warning light comes on. I have removed the battery cables to try reset the computer but that didnt work. Do I need to take it into vw to reset the computer or is there a way to do it myself? Thanks |

You really need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to clear the DTC's then scan to see nothing else is the problem.
