FS: RC5 (RocketChip Level 5) ECU Chip Tune and Board

I have an RC5 chip tune and board for sale that is ready to be soldered into your ECU. I paid $450, and will sell this chip tune and board for $300.

A skilled tuner removed this chip board from my ECU, so it’s in perfect working condition.

At the time I had this installed on my Jetta TDI ECU, it produced 155 HP and 290 ft-lb torque with the following modifications:

Rocketchip RC5/EGR Delete Chip Tune Software, DC Stage III+ Clutch and 17.5 lb Flywheel, Fratelli Bosio Power Plus 764 Injector Nozzles, 11-mm Injection Pump, 17/22 Hybrid Turbo, 3 Bar MAP, EuroJet SMIC, PD Lift Pump, 2.5-inch Downpipe & CAT-back Stainless Steel Exhaust, PD150 Intake Manifold with Allard Power Pipe, PD150 Turbo Intake Pipe, R32 Air Intake and R32 MAF Housing up to the PD150 TIP, and Upgraded Intercooler Pipes

This RC5 tune is complete with EGR-Readiness, so it’s ready for OBD emissions testing. It passed Connecticut emissions with no problems.

You will need to have the original chip on top of your ECU removed, and then have the RC5 chip board soldered in place (see yellow square in pictures of ECUs below). I cannot perform the soldering for you.

If you choose not to use your original ECU then you will need someone to disable the immobilizer on any secondary ECU you plan to use.

The sale fell through, so the chip is still available.

According to RocketChip, this chip will only work on a 2003 TDI ECU Part Nr. 038 906 012 GN
