New to the forum, proud owner of a 05 TDI Passat 143000 and going strong, just had to have a new trans installed torque converter took a dump on me, only down side is now I have a coolant leak from the back passenger side of the engine are the trans to engine bolts drilled into a water jacket or should I be looking somewhere else. The stains are right on top of the tran housing above the starter. thanks for any help, and hello again.

No, but there are some coolant hoses back there. My guess is that they damaged a hose or the coolant flange.
