Default Hello and help

Hello new member here with a problem.
I have a 2005 new beetle tdi with dsg trany and yesterday I started car and drove abour 1/3 block and it died and will not restart it did not make any funny sounds and cranks fine .
I checked the timing belt and it looks fine to me and it was replaced about 25 K ago.
It is like it is not getting fuel what else can I check??
Thanks R Name

No fuel is possible. There's a fuel pump at the end of the cylinder head and in teh fuel tank. Either can be bad, the one in the tank can also clog.
The fuel filter can also clog.

It shouldn't be the timing belt because if it lasted 25k it will probably last the rest of its service interval OK, but just looking at it is not enough. You have to put the engine to tdc and see if the cam sprocket mark is right, or at least see if it's moving correctly when you crank the engine.

Also, since this is a technical thread, moved to mk4 section.
