Does anyone know which mk4 jetta fog lights I need to get to match my standard light existing head lights. I don't want them to be different type of light. I have 2005 jetta tdi gls. Also I need the part number for the gauge cluster cover. The plastic part that covers my gauges is cracked so I was able to remove it from outside without removing the gauge cluster. I don't see any part number on the thing and now I dont know how to look for it. thanks in advance |

They don't list the gauge cover as a seperate item.
What does the speedo goto 140 or 160mph? Are you automatic 4 speed or 5 speed or manual? Does it have the multi function indicator? They list 24 different ones varying in price from £240 to £530 so its a trip to the breakers. The front fogs are around £54 each they don't show different pictures of them just a round one and they shows two sets. Do you mean you just want the standard replacment bulbs for the foglights? Just go to the local auto parts store and they will tell you which ones you need. Keithuk is correct, there is no replacement for the instrument cluster cover. Best bet is to buy a used one, clean and polish it up, and use that cover.

Thanks guys!
this is what I have found and will order it, I hope it will work. I currently have only two options on my light switch on and off and I hope this euro switch will work with my existing wiring. http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen---/ES7176/ES10378/ what you think? |

They look ok.
There are threads on fitting the euro switch if you're interested, do a search? DIY - Wiring a Euro Headlight Switch to run parking lights (MkVI Golf) Installed Euro switch Euro switch installation or headlight switch removal.

Sorry to post something I'm sure has been done already; but I have a 2000 jetta TDI without fog lights. The headlamps were cloudy so I just bought a new set of headlamps off Ebay that come with fog lights. I also bought a new Euro switch so I could (hopefullly) power the fog lamps. Do I need to get a separate wiring harness, or will the orignal wiring harness have the wiring I need to power the fog lights if I install the Euro switch?
Thanks, Erich West Falls, NY |

You have to add a retrofit harness. If you plugged in the euro switch it should work but if you have foglights, what will they plug into?

yes you will need additional harness as chitty said, it comes with the relay. Check ECS tuning they sell fog light harnesses, (I got mine fog lights from them).

You can buy a harness or with internet resources (forum searchs) patience and knowledge of electrical work you can build your own harness oem style or not whatever suit your need
