Default engine mount instructions

Hi all,

any instructions on engine mount inspection and replacing?

I notice that when I push and pull the engine on the driver's side I can make it to shake bit, how many mounts are on the driver's side of the engine, and which mount usually goes bad first on this engines?

Thanks for any advices, 2005 1.9 TDI (BEW) Jetta

One on the end of the gear box and the dogbone underneath but that's not the drivers side, your steering wheel just happens to be on the wrong side

It should shake a little bit...the engine hangs from 2 mounts and the dogbone mount holds it in place. No instructions but if you look at the timing belt replacement, transmission removal, and dogbone mount replacement article the instructions are scattered in those articles.
