Engine mount alignment plate torque specs

Hi all,

I'm new here. Just got an 02 Golf GLS TDI earlier this week. I don't know when the timing belt was last changed or if at all with only 97k miles on it, so that's the first thing to do. The DIY maintenance section on here is really awesome. In the 98-03 TDI TB replacement part 1 write up it mentions updated torque specs for the engine mount alignment plate but doesn't give them. Are those specs in part 2? I don't have access to that yet.

Yes, all the torque specs are in part 2 and are in the relevant picture as well, thanks for joining!


FYI, you may see an old writeup on other tdi sites but there is one meaningful mistake and a few minor mistakes/outdated info. I try to keep all FAQ articles here as current as possible and fix mistakes when they are pointed out so if you have any requests/corrections, feel free to post a follow up.
