Default camshaft crankshaft timing

replacing timing belt and to make a long story short, I seemed to have lost the timing between the crankshaft and the camshaft. Any help in getting those back in time?

Hi, . Tdc is the piston closest to the belt so just make sure the valves are shut. Also have a look at the faq incase there's an easier way.

#1 camshaft lobes should be sticking up like a V. All the others should not. Then put the crank at TDC. If they're all just completely messed up, remove the camshaft so that the valves are all closed and then put the crank at TDC. If you refer to the ALH timing belt article the pics in there should let you figure it out.
