Default remove stuck serpentine tensioner bushing

I am trying to remove the bushings from the tensioner arm and they are stuck in there too well. How do you pull them out?

I tried prying it out, which only succeeded in buggering it up.

Maybe if you could use a big screwdriver and hammer to bend one side in so it sort of folds then it should come out easier.

After days of trying every other way we could think of to get them out, we found that jamming a little screwdriver inbetween the bushing and the outer wall of the hole in three different locations caused it to release enough pressure that we could tap it out through the other side.

I don't think I'll ever do this job again.
