The hose inside the ECU must be changed: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a...-tdi-65535.htm The error code is confirmation it's the problem. Be glad you posted here because some people who don't know replace the ECU at a cost of $1300!

However, the ABS sensors should also be fixed.

The airbag code is common. These can sometimes come up for no reason. Clear the code and if it comes back try cleaning the contacts and checking the wiring. The airbag should still work unless it's a major fault.

Hi,
I assume you relate the error "65535 - Internal Control Module Memory Error" to a leakage of the hose inside the ECU. Why? Please explain. There is imho physically no difference between a leakage somewhere at the hose going from outside the ECU to the intercooler, and a leak of the same pipe inside. Both should be detected with an error "00575". You can test it simply - plug the hose from the ECU, and look which error you get.
Cheers

Good point, but the hose inside will fail sooner or later and if it's from 1996 it's already very old. Also, if you plug the hose it will also not work just as if it were leaking.

Hi,
I would not see an indication for a boost pressure leakage. Both engine ECU errors could however indicate a contact or wire problem (1x short to plus, 1x short to ground, both intermittent).
Opening the ECU and replacing the hose inside is a last resort in case an error 00575 intake manifold pressure can not be solved. Opening the ECU always means risk of electrostatic discharge damage.
Cheers
