Alarm door switch driver door ?

Help, 1997 Jetta, I can only arm / lock all doors with the key on my passenger door. When I do it from the driver door only the driver door locks or unlocks. Anyone know were the door switch is on the 1997 Jetta. ????
I have access to a parts car.

It's either in the door handle or the door lock module. Also check the wiring harness in the door hinge. It's under a rubber boot and the wires tend to crack.
