It seems the AC will get to a point after it runs for a little bit where with with every start from a stop the vents will start to have a white smoke/ mist/ or vapor come out of them. I don't notice any different smell, but my no means is my running car scentless. It is not very thick which adds to my confusion on how to classify it. Anyone have any ideas? |

could be condensation blowing away but Indiana isn't that hot unless there's a Logansport India. Not normal. Try shutting the AC off 5 minutes before stopping the car and see if it still blows smoke on next start.
AC takes moisture and heat out of the interior on an evaporator and moves it to the condenser by the radiator. shut off car hot and moisture can collect on evaporator. |

the plot thickens a little. Only on the warmer days do I see the mist. Today I saw mist, yesterday I didn't but it was over cast and cooler.
Well I misread your instructions. While failing to follow you directions I was able to notice that the same time the mist comes out of the AC water starts dripping onto the passenger floor below the glove box. It not wet in the glove box, and I haven't tore off the dash to see more specifically where the water is coming from inside the dash. Before I go that far does this ring any bells for anyone? Is this starting to indicate I need to top off my AC compressor? |

The drain line is clogged and water is actually blowing out of the evaporator. When moisture condenses on it, it has to drain out the bottom. The line is clogged so it's backing up. Clear the line and should be OK.

A lot of water drained out after I opened it up. I hope I got it unclogged, it felt kind of chunky at first. The drain kind of a pain to get at from the top.
It was kind of tricky to find, the manual doesnt talk about it being behind the Larger U shape in the firewall. If the issue comes back I will take a closer look at it. Now that I know where its at, will take 2 secs to get to. Thanks for the help. |
