Yes if it's going in a Mk3 golf, otherwise it might be trickier, they used the same engijne and box in the Mk3 golf. Don't have any links I'm afraid.

The Golf and Jetta are the same car. You'll have to swap over everything in front of the dashboard and the cluster, ecu, dash wiring (maybe), entire engine wiring, and front springs since engine is heavier or find a VR6 for a better suspension. Huge project but doable if you want to do it. IMHO, easier to just buy a mk4 Golf TDI.

He doesn't say it's a VR6 though, it could be any golf at the moment and if it's just the Mk3 jetta tdi into a Mk3 golf tdi then it's just straight in without all the looms etc.

unfortunately i have not been able to find a 4 door MK3 TDI in the US... I am really interested in the TDI motor and I would love to own a 4 door golf. So i am thinking about buying a MK3 4 door golf GL or GLS w/ manual transmission, then buy a MK3 Jetta TDI and rebuild the engine and trans, and swap it into the golf. My ultimate goal is to make this into a daily driver and be able to make 50 mpg, i believe this could be easily done with the older lighter MK3 chassis and the engine mods would be easier to fabricate due the fact the engine is being run on an OBD2 wiring harness.

IMHO, if you want the front look the front fenders/headlights are a direct bolt on. Much easier to do that. Can't help you with the rear!
